We live in a time of unprecedented
International Travel and Communication. This has spawned a sharing of
knowledge and culture that allows the people of all nations to benefit
from the experience of other nations.
A composite world culture is
developing from the traditional roots of the various nations. This culture incorporates a
global view in which all humanity shares and stewards the Earth together.
It's riches include the Arts, Sciences, Technologies, Languages and
Philosophy
developed throughout the Earth throughout history.
World Harmony Project fosters
cooperation among the peoples of the Earth, for mutual benefit. This
is accomplished through
Educational and Cultural activities with a sustainable, global vision.
These activities include the
establishment of arts centers in various countries to promote the
development of local arts and culture as well as creating bridges
for them to the expanded
Global Culture.
World Harmony Project

In the Fall of 2005, we shifted our focus to using this
website
as a base for global education and communications efforts in the realms of
Health, Community and
Sustainability.
In January, 2006 we
embarked on an effort to establish a World Harmony Project Arts
Center in the Central American country of Costa
Rica. This center is intended to enhance and develop the cultural life
of the Costa Rican people and to promote International Cultural Exchange.
In addition, this center is intended to become an
International University of Sustainability.
We have received grants
from the State of Florida, Alachua County and the City of
Gainesville for local and regional events in North Central Florida,
USA. These grants were supplemented by popular support from the community,
including cash contributions and in kind goods and services. Primary
support of our global
efforts is by admissions and fees for events and the generous contributions of funds, time and expertise
from individuals, businesses,
and organizations.
