Ian's Penta-Hut
This hut was built to extend the living space
of an adapted school bus, on a perma-culture project in central
Florida.
The bus is veggie-oil powered and has enough
solar collectors and batteries to run a freezer, in addition to all the
other electrical needs of 2 adults and a small child.
This ambitious project has lots of food growing
around it and uses a composting system for human waste.

Built in the Spring of 2005 in High Springs,
Florida.
Floor diameter: 14'
The extra 2' of floor diameter
increased all the dimensions proportionally. The roof and eaves are
higher, the door and windows are bigger.
