Our civilization has reached the point where some of the development models, traditionally based on continuous growth and expansion are reaching their limits.

Old models of consumption which tolerate or even encourage waste in order to create more demand for production and commerce are also reaching their limits as resources become more scarce.

As  air, water and soil pollution levels increase so do the incidence rates of diseases, not to mention the reduction of quality in our general experience. Water becomes undrinkable  and  air becomes unbreathable, when filled with toxins.

There are methods of generating energy that do not create pollution, are not wasteful and will last much longer.

Given the current situation that we find ourselves in with oil dependency, the time has come to utilize these methods.

The links you find here are starting points for adventures in learning how to apply these methods for your own benefit and that of the rest of us Earthlings.
