Proposed World Harmony  Center Sustainable Community

Layer Three: Sustainable Community

Further insulated by yet another layer of forest, the ideals taught in the school and discussed and demonstrated at conventions and workshops may be lived in a practical, every day way.

This community would be home to students, teachers, artists, writers, farmers, scientists, craftspeople, therapists. mothers, children, retirees, entrepreneurs... all who want to live in peace and harmony with each other and with Nature.

Volunteers, Investors and Contributors are needed...

Throughout the premises, Harmony and Sustainability will be practiced in every way.

Reforestation, Perma-culture, Edible and medicinal plants (as well as those provided for aroma and visual beauty) will be everywhere.

Energy will be provided by the most sustainable means.

Motorized traffic will be at a minimum.

To the extent possible, noisier activities and disagreeable smells will be downwind and insulated by layers of forest and vegetation.

Making air for all the world to breathe through Reforestation:

Costa Rica is a small country in Central America, that contains about 5% of the worlds rainforests, which are critical for the global supply of oxygen.

We all need this oxygen in order to live, which makes it a top priority for all of us.

Costa Rica's government supports reforestation in various ways that allow it to be financially lucrative as well as ecological.

The incorporation of reforestation into the World Harmony Center would simultaneously generate oxygen for the planet and operational funds for the center.

I once overheard a mother telling her young child:

"Remember, the most important thing is love".

I was amazed and amused to hear the child respond:

"No, Mom, the most important thing is air!"

Even a child understands this, while I do agree with the mother that love is very important.

Reforestation is high on the agenda of World Harmony Project.
